• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well my honda 2 wheel motorcycle battery I think is dead. All the lights come on but when i try to turn it on it just makes a clicking noise. So my ? is, can I jump a motorcycle batt with a car batt?? never had to jump anything before. And I have no idea where the battery is on the honda so that should be fun to figure out. I never drive the stupid bike obviously!

Curious..!!

do you have a manual of any kind..? What year and model Honda is it..? Yes you can jump it or push start it. If you don't have a manual or the ability to work on it here what you do...turn it on put it in 2nd gear and have someone push you down the road. When you reach a good speed release the clutch and it should start up. Older models had chokes you need to set to initially start. If you do jump it only crank the engine in 10sec at a time and oause in between. Good luck..!!

Just sold my DN-1, had the same issue since i didn't rode it much, in my opinion it is not a good idea to jump it with a car battery, thats what the Honda dealer told me since the amps on a car battery are too high, they suggested to charge it overnight with a battery tender or an automatic charger on the 2amp setting, hope this helps:)

How much did you sell yours for? been trying to sell it for 6 months! i am only asking 7000...is that too high?? i bought it for 8200. And i have no electricity near my garage so can't really put it on a tender...maybe i can jump it with my spyder??

Bought mine for $9000 before the Spyder, the wife did not like it!, Then i bought the Spyder and had them both for some time, my garage was full so i decided to sell it, it was a hard task to accomplish since it takes a special person to buy a DN-1, i ended up selling it for $6000 including a 5 year extended warranty, i lost a bunch on it but basically i just sold it for what i owed, everybody told me the same thing; DN-01 stands for Do Not Order 1, hope you have better luck than me:sour:

You need to be careful jumping a small battery with a larger one. But it should be OK (as long as they are both 12v). Normally you would want the jumping vehicle running to put some extra umph in from the alternator. But I'd shut the engine off and jump it that way.

If you leave it connected for a few minutes before you try to crank it, that can make things go better.

BATTERY

The battery depending on year is going to be on the left side under the seat
what year is it ? I have had 5 GoldWings maybe looking for #6
