• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I plan to be heading to areas north of San Antonio in a couple of days. I enjoy Fredricksburg. Does anyone have suggestions for scenic routes, bed & breakfast or motels? Any other suggestions?:ohyea: I can see I'm opening myself up for a few jokes with this request:yikes:

I hear the D'Rose inn in Leakey is supposed to be nice. They cater to Motorcycles only.

Three Twisted Sisters is a fun ride. LOTs of Turns.

Howdy,

Send me a PM if you would like to enjoy an escorted ryde between Kyle and Fredericksburg. My hours are flexible.

If nothing else, we can compare maps for more fun.

Good ryding.

Luckenbach is about 15 miles from F'burg. Go east on Hwy 290, turn on 1376 about six miles. Lot's of great rides southwest of Kerrville. I will give you some routes....like Rt 337 west out of Medina, TX to Leakey, keep on 337 one mile past Leakey to the Frio Canyon Motorcycle Stop....Neal's Cafe in Concan on the Rio Frio (cold river) on 127 one mile off of Hwy 83. (call before you go, they are not always open during the colder months 830-232-6118 or 232-5913) Rt. 335 and 336 are great routes and part of the three sisters routes.

BBQ at Cooper's BBQ in Llano on Hwy 29 west a few blocks off of Hwy 16 north of F'burg 40 miles.

Have fun.

Big Red 1,

Thanks for the advice. I want to get my fender lights fixed at Kent or in Lytle...then head for the hills. Sarah

South Texas Suzuki in Lytle, TX (830) 709-4400. Kent Supersports in Selma, TX is (210)655-2625. Call ahead as the Spyder tech (Bruce) in Lytle has been sick and not always there and you don't want anyone but him working on your machine. Kent service mgr. is Ron and is probably a better bet to get your Spyder fixed. Good luck and have fun. If you wish to email for more info send to: [email protected] as I don't always read this site on a daily basis.
