• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Two production touring trikes...

That's why they rake them out then... I was looking at a 2011 Tri-Glide and comparing to a Lehmann/Road King rig. The factory ride had a whole lot more rake to it and the sales manager explained it exactly as you did.

I'm not sure if this is an important reason or not for using this type of tire, but with the typical front forks on a bike; if you turn the bars, the front wheel leans over onto (or at least towards...) the sidewall. Maybe they found that leaning over onto what must seem like a squared-off edge, they had a funky feeling in the steering.
:agree: The only time that you would have full contact with the road would be when you were going straight ahead. As soon as you start to turn you have less, and less contact, and off center at that.

In Maine the Hannigan would have to be registered as a car because it has four wheels. Then it would have to meet the inspection requirement for a car, also liscensing. That's why we can't register an ATV for the road here. Can't pass inspection. I did see one registered as a farm vehicle. The guy told me that really messed with the game wardens. As long as he followed the rules for farm vehicles he was ok. :dontknow:

The GG-Quads also have some difficulty with licensing from what I've been able to find out about them.
The Hannigon looks as if it'd be a TON of fun though... Here in New York we might be able to get away with a "Speical Commercial Regkstration". It's kind of a catch-all for anthing that needs to be moved on the roads, but the State can't figure out what it is...

Looked at a Rune trike set up on line. Wow!! I'm sure it's in the 35G range. Rune replaced the Valkyrie for those that didn't know that.
