dltang and I picked up our Hindles this morning and came back home and put them on. It was a very easy install and I had them put on both bikes within 45 minutes. The hardest part was getting that spring put back on the Hindle. I tried doing all the work from the right side and removing the stock tailpipe was easy and sticking the Hindle on from there was just fine but putting that spring on was a real bugger from the right. I found it was much easier when I switched over to the left side and it was more accessible and the angle was better for me. I popped the spring on in seconds from the left.
After the 1/2 hour seasoning of the pipe, we took a nice little 2 hour ride. The pipes sounded awesome! And I believe the Rotax likes them too. The engine ran smoother than it ever has and felt a bit peppier also. I am curious to see what the MPG is on my next fill as it seemed as if the gas gauge was moving slower too. So far, its the best and most noticeable mod that I've done to the Spyder.
