There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Well, we rode two hours to get to this neat historical restaurant. They have a really neat set up. All the tables have a griddle and you make your own pancakes. They were delicious. The bacon was the best and thickest I have ever eaten.

if you are anywhere near this place, hurry and get there!

Food runs are the greatest! Years past my wife and I would farm out the kids for a day. Leave home in central NY about 6:30am make the 3 hr. trip to Benninton VT. On the Goldwing For breakfast. Go across the state on the Molly Stark trail (rt.9) to I91 south to the Mohawk trail (rt. 2 w) to rt. 7 south to Great Barrington MA., catch rt. 23 w. To home. For lunch we would try and find one of them little diners, you know the ones with about 8 or 10 tables. They always had the best down home cooking. For supper sometimes we would stop at Brooks barbecue in Oneonta NY. It was a great ride especially in the fall, we would stop here and there, any place we found interesting.
that used to be one of our favorite things to do, is cruise the back roads of New England and look for those little diners. That and poker runs.:ohyea:

:shocked::shocked::shocked::gaah:WHERE? :2thumbs: I'm sure more than two hours away ,
but if & when I'm in the area :doorag: Share the info:p

This place is in DeLeon Springs, Florida. It is in a state park. The park is neat, too. There is a spring you can swim in, you can rent kayaks or paddle boards. They also have boat tours or you can walk a nature trail. Next time we will plan for more time.

A couple of us met up in Walton, NY on Monday.
Of course: lunchtime happened, and we discussed the potential for a ride over Memorial Day Weekend...
The question of whether or not it would become a "Ride to Eat" event was mentioned...
The answer: ALL rides are built around this basic premise, and you don't mess with success!! :2thumbs: :yes::yes:

We rode down to Brooks BBQ about a month ago, the ride and the food was excellent.

Two hour ride for good eats. Sounds perfectly normal.

Some of our most memorable rides have been of this kind.
We once rode over 400 miles (7 hours) for the best Reuben Sandwich in Oregon :D:D

Sacramento, CA to La Pine, OR .... The Harvest Depot on Hwy 97

2 hour ryde

We did somthing like that last weekend but it ended up a little more than 2 hours, first stop was brealfast a a little Diiner in a smal town about an hour away where they filmed "The General" with Buster Keaton in the 20's. We had started out just for breakfast but always pack a overnight bag "just in case" so we dicided to keep on ryding and ended up about 20 miles from Crater Lake. The North entrance was not plowed out and the lodge did'nt open for another 2 days so we turned around and spent the night at Diamond Lake. anyway the little diner was great and I ended up having huckkel berry stuffed french toast with candied bacon. that breakfast run ended up around 400 miles and two days.
