• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Two brothers

Hello all,

I hope that you got over the hump of the day without too much trouble... As some of you may have noticed from a few of my posts, I am not the hands on type when it comes to working on a motor vehicle of any kind. I have not saved up the money for it yet, but I want to get one of the two brothers exhausts. Not because I think it is the best brand or anything like that but because I like the look of the double pipe. I wouldn't mind a deeper growl too but my main goal is the look. My question to the group is do I have to get additional stuff done to the spyder when I get the new pipe. Is it necessary to get a different filter or stuff like that? I've heard people say the bike is running "lean" and I honestly have no idea what that means. I just want the spyder to look good. I don't want to add more maintenance.

nope, nothing else needed. just put it on. After installed, start up and let it idle for 5 min, then shut off. Wait about 20 sec. and start up and ride. This will have given the ECU enough time to sense if the change to exhaust requires a change to the fuel to air ratio. Enjoy the new sound.

That's all the dealer did to both of ours 2013 ST, 2011 RS and we love them.

It seems that certain spyders handle the change differently. Mine had popping on decel and made my spyder just act funny. Long story short, I now have the K&N air filter and power commander with auto tune...AMAZING!

The definition of a bike running "Lean" is that the fuel-to-air ratio has more air running to or out of the engine then normal operation. this happens on the Spyder when you start making changes to the intake and exhaust. You don't need a power commander/juice box till you have both changed to an aftermarket item, i.e.-mine with the KewlMetal Intake and 2Bro's single pipe. with just the exhaust, you will have some backfire on decel, but nothing that will hurt anything.

Don't know..!!

have seen many that have added the fuel control systems. Could be because they wanted more control/were told they needed it or because they needed it. You would pretty much have to pull a democratic decision and put it on and see what happens...they do sound sweet and look great..good luck..!!

I put an HMF exhaust on my wife's Spyder GS and it pops a lot when she is decelerating. Not sure if it is hurting the engine but I will probably put on the Juice Box for next spring. The Power Commander and the one HMF sells is too expensive for the same thing.

I would highly recommend the power commander. I started with the juice box and had some issues. After trying to sort it out with two bros (nothing bad to say about them, they were great) I just decided to try the power commander and never had the slightest problem since
