• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. two Brothers Muffler fix

I called Two Brothers Muffler last week and asked if they had anything that would get the exhaust out the back of the RT further and they sent me a kit that has a longer pipe from the catalytic converter to the muffler and also a tail pipe that goes into the back of the muffler and it is great. I was very pleased talking to Two Brothers Company, they were very concerned about consumer feedback and great people to deal with. I am including pictures of the muffler before and after the fix. PICT0978.jpgPICT0979.jpgPICT3868.jpgPICT3872.jpgPICT3873.jpg We also went back to Cowtown for issues with the muffler and what a great group of people they are, The muffler had a hole in the side because of the trailer hitch bolt hitting the muffler and they replaced the case without hesitation. We are very happy with the Spyder and having A dealer like Cowtown and Companies like Two Brothers is a plus to owning such a great machine.

I have heard of several owners having this problem on an RT with the hitch bolt rubbing a hole in the side of the Two Bros muffler and worse if its the carbon fiber model. Maybe someone that has more info on this can help to caution RT owners.

Turn the bolt around the other way, and the kit includes a spacer to hold the muffler away further

as you can see in the top center of the 1st pic, i took 9 inches out of it, gutted some of the inners, closed it up, painted it, and it's as quiet @ idle as original... but under exceleraction, it's rocks...

the pictures I posted is our bike with the fix installed just a couple of days ago, the one Two Brothers shows on their website looks longer but other wise the same as ours. I wanted to post actual pictures of the bike's muffler.

What are you trying to fix?

I have the same Two Brothers as you and I am not aware of any issues as long as it is installled properly to avoid hitting the hitch bolt.

What did the Two Brothers fix kit cost?

Just curious.

The fix moves the muffler away from the bolt and back more to get the exhaust further out the back. There is a saying though "IF ITS NOT BROKE DON'T MESS WITH IT" ours had an exhaust fumes problem and a big hole from the bolt hitting

My Spyder is in the shop now (waiting on new brake cable) because of that screw issue.
Almost rear ended my buddy about 300 miles away from home coming back from SpyderFest.
Super hot heat came outta that little hole and melted my brake line. Sucked !!!
