2015 RTL. 18000 miles. BajaRon sway bar. Almost new automobile tires, 17psi F, 20psi R. Had laser wheel alignment. Even on a smooth road, Spyder feels twitchy. Feels like it is jumping around. On cruise control, take right hand of bars and lightly keep left hand on. Still feels twitchy. Is it me, or might something be out of whack?opcorn:

I know you have not ridden for a long time have you checked to make sure the front tire pressures are still with in 1 to 1/2 lbs of each other? If one tire has more pressure than the other it can do that (be twitchy).

Open hands and very loose arms on the bars. The steering system is extremely sensitive to ANY input.

Suggest too lowering F tire pressure to 15 when you check 'em and see if it makes any difference.

Twitchy steering is almost always related to wheel alignment. I run 16 psi front and 22 rear giving me over 20k km and zero twitchiness right up to 140kph. Happy to see you had a successful wheel alignment for the correct 'fix'.

I assume you have automobile tires on it?

After having the laser alignment done, has anyone hooked up BUDS and reset the steering angle and yaw rate settings? Laser alignment adjusts the mechanics of the steering/chassis alignment, but resetting all the neutral points is strictly software. If the software doesn't know where dead center neutral is, you could constantly be fighting the steering trying to get back to the old neutral/straight ahead point. A quick but not very precise test is to try and see if your turn signals cancel at about the same point after a turn, or if one side cancels early and the other doesn't want to cancel without doing a very sharp turn.

Is it always doing it, every time go out?? Was the wind blowing hard? I find mine twitchy on a windy day, like today was here in Maine!!! And when the road has a lot of crown. And the surface of the road, coarse, smooth, ripely changes make it act up also!! Like said above at times it is very touchy!! Good Luck If it's doing it all the time them I am all wet, and you may have a issue!!!

If you need the alignment and BUDS checked, easy to check, but you need to bring it to me in WPB. Have a ROLO laser setup and BUDS.
