• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Turned the demo back in today...

...along with a piece of my heart (I really wanted to just take the bike and run away from home!) Both the hubby (Tobor 9) and I had a great time riding and showing the bike off. Put 2667.8 VERY happy miles on it.:yes:Total average gas miles was 34.55 mpg. Not bad considering I only had Tuesdays off the last 2 weeks we had it (back to working 6 day weeks.). I (we) had absolutely no problems with it regarding driving, handling, etc.. Rode my 2011 today for the 1st. time and it was like hauling a truck around! There are just a couple of minor things I would change or add: 1) Arrows or LED's on the mirrors in addition to the regular turn signals. In bright sun you just can't see them on the console. 2) A gas door. These are just minor quibbles. BRP was really listening to us when they built this beastie! Both the hubby and I wish Publishers clearing house would come calling - we would both trade in our bikes!! Don't get us wrong, we love our rides. But we love the 2014's more!!:firstplace: The problem is, what color! He would probably get the white bike. I was really leaning towards the cognac with the brown seat - however, like Lamonster, you really can't get over how gorgeous the black is!!! Oh well!

I've only ridden mine about 150 feet so far... :opps:
I need to log some seat-time at speed, before I think that the hook is set... :D

Thank you for the update on your test ryde. I really does sound like the 2014 is a winner.

I still have a week to go with my test Spyder, and so far my experiance has been about the same as yours. I was just lucky enough to take a couple vacation days to get a bit more miles than you.

Once you go 2014 you can never go back!

Sadly, when I turn in the 2014. I will no longer be riding a Spyder for a while. I had to sell mine during the test period, so come-on six numbers. :cus: with it, give me five numbers.
