• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

UPDATE - Tunnel of Trees Ride Oct 11-13 (MI)

Friday is a get together dinner for all interested, Saturday is the ride to Legs Inn (about 35 miles from motel) through the Tunnel of Trees. We'll leave the motel around 11. After that folks can decide where to go next. Some may want to go to the Bridge others elsewhere. Sunday is open to return or maybe a ride south (we summer in Lewiston and can lead an enjoyable ride to there.)This is very informal and casual get together. I've contacted the Days Inn and they are holding 10 rooms, 2 queen rooms for $88 and 8 king for $91. There number is 231-348-3900. the rooms will be held till October 1. Call them direct to make your reservation. Mention the Spyder Group.

I'll check with the motel on Oct 1 an post who is coming. If you plan on riding but not staying at motel let me know. Thanks! Ron

;)Saturday and Sunday is Charlevoix's Fall Festival with more than 100 exhibitors in downtown Charlevoix. I'll guide a scenic ride to Charlevoix from Legs Inn after lunch. The festival is awesome, we've attended several years and is not to be missed!

Will try and make it. Have to convince the better half. It is a two day trip from the DC area.
 
Was there a couple weeks ago , great ride ! Was planning on going back , when the leaves change , to video it. Will try to make it , have to find sitter for my dog (;

I am hoping to join the group for dinner on Friday, if I can get the day off of work. If not, I will meet up with you at the Leggs Inn on Saturday. :ohyea:
 
Planning to attend.

Will be riding with the group. Plan on arriving in the area sometime Friday. Spyderwoman(Peggy) and Owens9finger(Gary) will be staying at the State Park.
 
I'm going to try to make it out there. I just got my spyder back from the shop, the 3rd time its been in for a month. I'm putting it on the calendar and and we will see if my spyder continues to give me trouble or not.
 
Sad day, was getting things lined up to come that way and when I went to my moms for dinner and mentioned I was going to go on this she gently reminded me I was watching her dogs for 2 weeks because she is heading out on a cruise she had been planning for 2 years. :gaah: I never put two and two together when getting my ducks in a row to go.
