There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I don't think there is any time limit but I would check out hotel availability as it may be a busy time up there.

As Anne stated there is no time table to sign up. I have 10 rooms reserved under my name, Bob Stein. When you call give them my name and mention you want to be with the Spyder group. When I called to set this up they told me if more rooms were needed there shouldn't be a problem. At last count, there are 7 or 8 confirmed reservations.

I don't think we can make this trip we've overspent our travel budget by about 300% and we've got to go visit the grandkids in October. So I'm wishing you good weather and good color.

We want to ride up on Sat. to do the tunnel ride. When are you going to leave the motel to do the ride. We would like make a nice day ride out of this and ride with the gang. Hope to see you.

We're glad you can join us. There isn't any thing set in stone. I would imagine by the time everyone gets up and has breakfast, it will be some where around 11ish. I think Legs Inn doesn't open until around noon. That's where we end up and have lunch. But the plans are open until we get to Petoskey and we can get input from eveyone.

Hi Bob,
Unfortunately we cannot make it to the "Tunnel of Trees" this year.
Nancy had to have hernia surgery last week and I think it would be just too far for her to go. I hope you guys have a good turn out and great weather for that weekend. Have you and Joan decided about your rides yet and what you will be doing as far as adding mods to the Spyder or going for the RT? Have fun on your ryde and will be looking for pictures.

I've reserved a room for Friday night. My boyfriend and I will be joining everyone for the ride Saturday
. Looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing the fall colors. This will be the first time he will be riding my Spyder, fingers crossed that he will like it.
On another note I saw a few Spyders at Bikes on the Bricks in Flint last weekend. Wondered if any of them are on here. The police escorted ride was awesome and my 14 yr old nephew who rode with me thinks he is the coolest kid ever now. Here is a video of the bikes going by

Rachel, :welcome: thanks for posting the video of your ride. I had no idea that that was such a huge ride! We had a charity ride in Grand Rapids on Saturday or we may have gone to Flint. I think I counted 7 Spyders - not a bad turnout.
