• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Trying to Decide 2016 or 2017 RT Limited

Totaled my two-wheeler and, due to age and health issues (knees/back), considering maybe it's time to move up to a three-wheeler. Really like the looks of a RT Limited. The dealer has a 2016 he said he'd give me a good deal :roflblack: but hasn't mentioned money. I see the 2017s are coming but it seems only the passenger volume control and the GPSs are different. I can't buy anything for a couple of months so I have time to think about the purchase. Is the 590 worth waiting for, the 660 is already discontinued? I believe the dealer will want MSRP, or very little less, for a 2017. I'm sure he wants the 2016 outta there to make room for more bikes. Appreciate any input.

2016 and save thousands for farkles.:thumbup:.....not enough difference to justify the extra money for the 2017 imho.

:agree: Sorry to hear about two wheeler , glad you ok to keep ryding:yes:, other thing to get considered first is do you want a freedom trailer....? Best to get at first instead of wanting & trying to find one later:popcorn: The 16& trailer may balance to the same price as the17:dontknow: Is good either way you WILL BE HAPPY :2thumbs: Honestly do not know about 660 discontinued
I hope not as that's what I have:gaah::p

:welcome: If you go for a 2017 in July, you can expect to pay MSRP. Don't have to deal on the latest and greatest because they have the newest and the best.

That said, if you can pick up a 2016 at a deal, that's pretty good. Usually, we have to wait until October or later when they are doing their "clean out" sales.

Good luck on your hunt. :yes:

For what little difference there is i would go with the 2016.If you could find a 15 you would probably get a better deal.But there none up this way.

+1 on the 2016. As for the 590 vs the 660, I ryde with a group that has both. I have a 660, and it seems to me the 590's have some issues that the 660's don't. As an example, when the .gpx files for our ryde route get sent to the road captains, often, there is only one file for the 660, but two for the 590.

I'm very happy with the 660. Perhaps someone who has had both can discuss the differences.

I concur with everyone who advises to go with the 15 or 16. You can find some great deals out there on product that dealers want to sweep off their showroom floor. That's what I would do, but its your ride and your wallet. Whichever way you go, at least you have made the wise choice to go with the best thing on three wheels.

Sorry about your two wheel mishap, I'm glad you're ok. :welcome:

Why waste money?

I purchased a 2015 RT SM6 when the 2016s were coming out. The dealer in Tampa sold it to me for about $3500 less than MSRP. Unless you absolutely have to have the latest color, why not put that extra cash in your pocket and enjoy it elsewhere?
