• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trunk warning light question

My back storage shows on the dash when it is left open, do any of the others show the warning? My frunk was left open by mistake but no warning on the dash.

Thanks for any help,

Randy

I noticed that too when I had a saddlebag that wasn't secure... After slamming to top trunk enough times to jar a tooth loose, I finally checked the bags... :opps:
Nothing for the Frunk though...

Interesting, I wonder if the frunk is forced close at high speed or is there chance that it can be pulled open in the vacume? Or for that matter, if its unlocked and you slam the breaks on?

Thanks,

Randy

I speak with experience that when you are going down the interstate, and someone cuts you off, and your frunk in not latched, and you slam on your brakes, THE FRUNK LID FLYS OPEN, and looks like a set of spyder fangs out there until you can pull off and close it.
:spyder:

But at least you can see that it's open and deal with it.(unlike the rear compartments.) :gaah:

Steve; I'm glad to hear that the hinges took the abuse without damage during that manuever!
