• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trunk Lock

Does anyone know how to change the trunk lock cylinder on a 2012 RT? The trunk is unlocked, I can't turn the cylinder to lock it. I have another cylinder that came with the RT for a trailer.

This'll sound stupid; but please bear with me... :opps:
1. Sometimes my lock won't spin if the key is pushed in either too far, OR not far enough...
Have you tried "jiggling" things around a bit?
2. Could the lock just be gummed up with some sort of "crud?
Have you tried seeing if some lubricant helps?

Sorry... I had to ask the simplist stuff!
Anything else is beyond my pay grade! ;)

Thanks!
(Sorry... I had to check!)

I don't know if that tumbler that was designed for the 622 can be installed in the top trunk or not...
This might be worth a call to your dealer.

you know bob i remember the first day in apprentice school for my work, and the teacher said, some day you are going to be called to a house with someone saying my lights won't work, and he said the first thing you should do is check to see if the switch is on. so you talking about all the jiggle and turning and twisting is not a silly thing to say

Thanks John,
The one problem with this whole internet thing; we really don't get to know the person who's asking the question...
And it's really easy to forget that there's a lot more folks out there who are like me, than the talented ones like Lamont or Scotty! nojoke
