• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I had never heard of this show. My wife heard about it on the news when they were talking about the Emmys. She rented all 8 episodes and we just finished watching them.It was an HBO series in 2013. Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey are the main characters.Very good but for MATURE AUDIENCES ONLY!Joe T.
 
Not much for police dramas

But I will pass this info along, to an avid movie viewer lady friend.
She likes those actors too, so it should be a great share.

I agree that it was an excellent show, but yes the subject matter was a little dicey...
Matthew McConaughey was outstanding in this. :thumbup:
 
The first couple episodes are a bit slow, character development and sometimes difficult to catch multiple story lines proceeding independently. But WOW the last few episodes are a roller coaster ride. I will never think the same way about back country lower Louisiana the same way again and I do business there on a regular basis. Recognized a few of the locations and roads in the mini series.

Recommended viewing!
 
It was on HBO, so that falls on the why the mature audience/ strong content. Same channel that brought us The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire (my favorite), True Blood and Deadwood.
Planning to watch it on my DVR all together once I get time.

Season 2 has been signed, but with new lead characters.
