• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Triple play

How difficult is it to install the triple play? I would like to get it, but I have limited knowledge with this kind of stuff.
Thanks,
Tina

The Triple Play is pretty easy to install. As I recall, the directions were very straightforward. The module itself is plugs into existing BRP tail light plugs. You open the left & right blinker lenses to replace the stock light bulbs with the LED Genesis pucks, which plug into the BRP wires that fed the stock light bulbs. Plus, Magic Man offers free phone support if you get stuck on something. :2thumbs:

triple play

the triple play tail lights from NMN are hella easy to install iam hella not mechanicly inclinced and i did it.. its alll plug and play just unplug all the plugs and plug the trypleplays into em and then put the old plugs back in the tryple plays and take apart the turn signals and take out old bulbs and center new leds and stick to it and heat shrink wires to there correct conterpart and then reinstall works great lol now i have the fender tips too and i still havent installed those there seems to be a bit more involved to install them hehe procrastinator.

Awesome, thanks guys. I'll be getting them after the first of the year. I work on computers, not vehicles, so I might need the phone support. LOL.

Hey SpyderDog,
The fnder tipz aren't more involved, just harder to get to. It is quite a reach to the right place to plug them in.

Make sure you have a lot of light when you do any of the NMN light changes...I was in the garage and didn't differentiate two like colored wires...the Spyders don't have uniform wire coloring...this makes things a little tricky.

I also misunderstood one of the steps with the fender tipz but Evan cleared things up.

They are great products and you'll love them...I keep my triple play brake lights on the 3 or 4 blinks before they stay on...blinking lights attract more attention...

While you're working with the triple play, you might as well get the center light and the fender tipz (amber)...they look great and make your bike even that much more visible...

Enjoy...

I was thinking about that too. Might get them both in February. Thanks.

Sure, it will set you back a few hundred dollars, but what you get out of it is more visibility...and this translates to more safety.

Safety is my first priority on the road...from there, the fun factor kicks in!

Evan is a really good guy...very patient...I was flipping out when I couldn't get the triple play right the first time...he sent me the information and basically led me by the hand until I got it right...he stands behind his products and his products deliver!

I want to get the HID lights, but those have to wait unless at least spring...

I have the fender tipz, triple play, and the center taillight...by installing these, you will learn a lot about the bike...that alone is worth the money and time spent...

Just remember, as Evan alludes to in his instructions...the colors of the wires can change throughout the bike...it's not black/red, white/black, etc...I got caught on that because I didn't have enough light and there was I think a dark green or blue wire and a black one and I got them backward...no damage, but it didn't work properly until Evan had me go through everything again (the flashlight helped!)

Enjoy...you'll love the products...
