There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Just bought the Triple play to now find out that there is a conversion to get the taillight the same.

Dropped them an email to find out why, no response. I know everyone is busy, but please let me know what has to be done if I have 1st generation triple play and how much additional cost.

Hi! I was told that if you have the 1st generation Triple Play, it is an additional $25 for the conversion to allow the connection of their LED taillight.

Are you sure you have the 1st generation set? I received my TP kit about 2 weeks ago. And, it is the TP II kit. :) If your TP kit has the 3 red tubes (about an inch long) taped together in the wiring harness, you have the TP II set. Then; all you would need to do is buy the LED taillight.

For me, however, I'll have to wait until they come up with an LED taillight that accomodates the sportrack/back rest.

The triple play really is appealing but I need to find out with my state (MD) if I can have red rear turn signal lights? I've never noticed a vehicle that had same, might confuse cagers.:dontknow:

Thanks for the quick response
Unfortunately, my original package says "triple Play".
Do I have to order an additional part, or do they need my unit back for the conversion? ( I heard that somewhere)
As far as the other post, hope CA allows them

My package says Triple Play, as well. I bet you have the TP II kit, though. Check to see if you have the red tubes bundled. If so; you got TP II! :)

RED rear turn signals are allowed on Motorcycles in California according to this...

When did you send your email? Nothing here from you? :dontknow:

But sometimes a phone call during normal business hours is best anyway.

All 50 States allow red rear turn signals.

The brand new Harley Davidson Nightster, Rocker, and our brand new 2009 Screaming Eagle Road Glide all have red turn signals straight from Harley Davidson. You know Harley Davidson has done their homework before bringing out new models with red turn signals before they did it.

Also, Harley Davidson has sold a conversion kit for years to make the rear turn signals red rather than amber as well. Again their homework was done on these kits too.

Next even still to this day almost 50% of the autos on the road still have red rear turn signals. My 2008 Honda Ridgeline even has red rear turn signals.

In America rear turn signals can be red to amber in color, but MUST Be Red if also used as running lights and brake lights. You can't have amber rear running lights or brake lights here in America.

Do you need my old unit to convert?
My understanding is that you don't need to convert it UNLESS you want the new tail light to also flash 4 times when you use your brakes. If you currently don't have the switch on for the turn signals to flash, why convert it?

I just want the tailight to match the signals, no flashing.
