There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Tried to Winterize, but the weather's too good, so Still Riding!

I've tried a few times to Winterize the F3s, but each time I do the weather gets favorable for short rides. I've been going on short trips, and running some errands for the past 3 days. It's been great. Our wx here has been getting into the low 20's F in the mornings, but warms up into the low 60's. Today's high was 48° and I rode into town (10 mi) to my Dentist appointment. It was chilly but good. The Dentist that seen me wasn't my regular, but he's a motorcyclist. He knew about Spyders, and wanted to hear all about it. Tne Hygienist said we he seen me pull into the parking lot he couldn't wait to talk with me.
Anyway, still riding when I can, I I absolutely love this F3S.

Good for you ..... however if I lived in Tenn. I wouldn't put the Spyder away, I would just ride any day the weather was decent .... JMHO ....Mike

I don’t usually winterize my toys. There are always rideable days throughout the winter. I can usually get 80 or more miles a week through winter.

I too, haven't winterized my bikes since I bought heat gear 10 years ago. The saying here is, "If there's no snow, I go". We do the Polar Bear Grand Tour every fall thru spring. A different place for lunch every Sunday.

For me it's the salt or brine they spread on these roads that keeps me from riding. I don't even drive my car or truck when that stuff is present.

I'm in Ohio and my winterization consist of adding a bit of stabilizer to the fuel. I do this several times a winter because I ride year round. Fuel stabilizer and a battery tender is all I have ever used on my bikes and I have been doing this over 50 years. No issues yet. I guess best thing to do is give up and just ride :2thumbs:

I winterize here in Vermont, because of the road salt/brine that they put on the roads and for insurance purposes. Also, I don't have much down time between the end of the motorcycle season and the start of the sled season. I usually get the sled ready for winter then.

I put the :spyder2: on a battery maintainer, change oil, etc. and store it until April of the following year.

Then throw in the holiday season etc. and before I know it, it's :spyder2: riding season again!

Here in Southwestern Ontario, I also do not fully winterize my Goblin.... Stabilizer in the gas, battery maintainer year round. Had a beautiful ride in +13C weather on Christmas Day. We have had zero snow so far so no salt on the roads. Anytime the roads are clear of ice or snow, I'm tempted!

What stabilizer do you use?
