• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TricLED Rings?

To the guys that installed these, where did you get your power from? Did you use the battery directly and use the switch? Or did you tap into something else?

I did not use the switch at all. I took a feed from the power that goes to the outlet in the trunk. Even if you don't have the optional power outlet fitted the wiring is still there on the front LHS frame. Much easier than going back to the battery.
The lights then come on when the Spyder is switched on and conveniently they stay on for around 30 seconds after you switch off.

I have the outlet. If I wire to that and happen to use the outlet also, will it blow the 3amp fuse?

I used the power that used to go to the headlights to power the rings that are mounted around the lights. I installed HIDs so I had this power already there in the pod so I used that. The rings on the BRP fogs are wired into the directionals. :D

I have HIDs on both. You just tap into the wires going to the bulb?

Hey! Can you shoot a video of that?

Thanks guys. I got them on the wifes bike.

:congrats: Justin, those look good.

I have mine wired into separate zones of the remote controller box that Reggy sells. I placed a switch between the battery and the controller box. This allows me to kill any of my questionable LED lights with one flip of that switch, in case I am ryding somewhere that the LEO doesn't truly appreciate them.
