• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Spotted this today but no info on it.

Is this actually possible to put the RT's Tri-Axis Handlebars on a RSS?

I do have to ask why..?? It's like putting bench seats in a Ferrari...:dontknow:

Chupaca, sorry man but sometimes I wonder about you and your posts.....

Do you have to respond to every freakin post (seems like you do) with things that do not provide any benefit?

Tell me why adding these to a RSS is "bench seats on a Ferrari"?

I mean some folks want less reach on a RSS and install risers to get there!
Might not be your cup of tea but honestly, the Tri-axis handlebars work so well in their adjustment range, seems like a good solution if they work on a RSS!!!

How about explaining your daily non-informational "comment" replies with some reasons and ideas rather than looking like you have to be here and reply to every FREAKIN post "just because"........

Your response both did not answer my question NOR provided anyone else with discussing the possibility!!!

Sorry man... it just seems that way with MANY of your posts... Are you trying to beat Bob on post count or something?
Sorry man but daily I have to weed through your comments on just about every new post here, making "basic" comments, and just trying to understand why?
To me it just seems like some other motivation to do so???? Some of your answers are so benign and "canned sounding". It just makes me wonder why?

If I got that all screwed up... sorry...
Would be nice to understand....

OK let the reaming begin for my attitude.... All good. I can take it :banghead:

Just saying that when I respond to a question, I spend a crap load of time on the response to give some value and help the person.
I do not get involved or respond to every question here. I ONLY try to stick to what I know and can help with....

I don't give a irrelevant "one liners".

So it gets to me to see someone post in just about EVERY new thread here with a "one liner" canned sounding response.

OK so beat me up.... It just bothers me a little as to the motivation to do so and wanting to understand why....
This is not the first time I have asked this, I don't expect a reply as I never got one before!
In fact one of Chupa's posts about his own bike, I asked a question and never got a response! Makes me wonder if he even checks his own posts for questions!

Sorry.... beat me up now all..... Had a bad day and just feel I needed to say something :(

;) Yup!

Gene,
Some folks just like the looks of the RS, but the forward lean of the riding position gets to them after a while.
This gives them an option...

Yes Bob, this is my 2014 RSS that my dealer was successfully able to install Tri-Axis Handlebars on. BMP told us its not recommended for any model besides the RTs. Turns out all the parts are the same and it works great. Now BMP asked for pictures and I told them no unless they are willing to pay for the Tri-Axis Bars $650. I have been searching for risers for my bike since 2014 and have been told by all manufacturers they only make them for models up to 2012 or 2013.

Great to know! I have a bad back and on trips of more than 2 hours I find myself having to change positions quite often, this could be helpful.

Way to go! I saw your post on facebook but no one responded to questions there. Maybe it was not you that posted it.

Anyway they look great in my opinion!

I wonder if the dealer ran into any snags that are different installing them on a RT? I would think it would actually be easier to install them on a RSS as maybe the entire top faring doesn't need to be removed!

There's an alternative to Tri-Axis bars....

I had the same problem with my RS-S. It was cured by by dealer fitting the HeleBars (it already had the 1 inch OEM risers fitted.)

Don't know for sure about prices over there but I believe that the HeleBars were cheaper than RT Tri-Axis bars when bought new.

The HeleBars were 3 inches closer to me than stock and an inch higher due to the existing risers.

You can see the improvement in the pic....look at the position of the ignition key!
