• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Parked near a tree the other day and just noticed some sap on the top of the left saddlebag. Tried Goo-Gone without any luck. Any other suggestions?? :(

Avon Skin So Soft. I used it on my truck while living at a rental house that had pine trees all over. Worked great

:shocked: We were just kicking this around about a month ago...
Somebody came up with an amazing solution... but my brain can't find it! :opps:
I've WD 40 with pretty decent results...
cooking oil?
peanut butter?
:dontknow::dontknow::dontknow:
Something kind of out in left field; but they swore that it was a winner!

Try searching the old threads for it! :thumbup:

Well, I'll try the WD40 - all I have in my coach is crunchy peanut butter and that might not be a good idea. :yikes: OK, found the other posts - some strange stuff that people use.......

Successfully used WD-40 followed by a good spray with Honda Spray/Polish. :clap: Thanks for the resources.

WD40 is ok..... but nothing works as well as PAM.

I camp a lot and my campsite is under pine trees, so this solution is tested and proven many times each year. :thumbup:

Sometimes I park one of our cars in a grove of Georgia Pines and at different times of year the car will be speckled with pine sap.

I had tried the hot soapy water, the WD-40, the bug and tar remover, etc. but one day last year we were having one of our trees removed and the tree guy noticed the speckles on the windshield.

Just use cold water on that, he said. Rinse it with cold water and wipe it off. Apparently hot water makes it worse but cold did the trick.

Happened to my wifes car one time. Couldn't get it off, actually messed up the clear coat trying. Not sure what kind of tree it was but it was some tough crap.
