• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Get it with the watch, so it has the most utility:

Tell you significant other you need this and it will be there this year. Availability after May 15.

Sure wonder what the airplane safety agents are going to say about this. I had to throw away a little pair of finger nail clippers because of the ¼" nail file on them.

Size...

All parts are small, no blades no different than a watchband..heavy duty watchband..would have to test ryde it...:roflblack::roflblack:

Availability after May 15 - no specific date in May stated. Some places are taking predelivery orders now ($149.85).

Just checked the Leatherman site - $150.00-$200.00!! :gaah: Maybe not want as much! .38 S & W Lady Smith first!

Neat. I carried a regular Leatherman for a year or so. The other 10 years its been in my tool drawer.

Am also thinking that the TSA will not like the box cutter feature.

My leatherman is always with me.

It has been for longer than I care to think about.
I've gone through 4 for one reason or another.
My first had to be abandoned because I electro-welded into a furnace.

Thanks for the update although I doubt if I could wear it on my wrist.
My pocket would feel empty and I would feel naked.
Not a pretty sight.

My eyes are burning :yikes::yikes:

After flying and going through security four or five times a day for 35 years there is no way to get this through. Simply put it in your checked luggage and put it back on when you get there. Maybe with the watch you could fool some of the people some of the time but not all the people all of the time. The box cutter part could cost you a day of questioning.

I like it!

Jack

I like it, but with huge wrists, I might find it difficult to fit.

Leatherman claims it is airport security friendly, but some of you may know better, right? :dontknow:

Could be interesting, but the price ?

TSA okay cuase they say so, sounds a lot like slingshot available in all states

that would drive me battier than I already am

I don't wear jewelry, I don't wear my wedding band, I can't stand stuff hanging on me. But that's just me..call me aBBy nOrMaL...

Oh and my LeAtherman Tool has been in my tool box for over 20 years.. I rediscover ever so often, when I am looking for a real tool..
