There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Received my Seal Floorboards yesterday and installed last night.

Not had chance to go for a test ride yet, but will be doing a 6 hour round trip to the dealer tomorrow (Thursday June 7th) for first service and hitch install.
Cutting close because I leave for Americade Friday 8th at 6.30am, need to modify trailer lead to 5 pin.

Anyway, I have the travel cover that came with the limited, normally this hooks around the drive pegs.

What do user do that have the Seal Floorboards, I thinking of some sort of hook that could be added to the bolt on the drive foot peg.

thanks in advance

I will try the passenger floorboards, I have the brake paddle but the shifter wasn't installed on mine.

thanks

I secure with cover straps either to the front upright of floorboard or passenger peg..passenger peg works best in wicked wind..I also just "raised" brAke per John instructions...really like the extra height .. Something to consider..hardest part of the fix was getting this body upright!!! Lollol

How was it you raised the Brake? Mine works just fine but I think a bit higher would give me more confidence.

Talked to John about this very thing at SF. I would like a bit more travel... How?

(Might want to start a new post on that... instead of us hijacking this one...)

Unscrew and remove rubber pad..add a couple (1 each screw) 1/4" rubber grommets/shims..replace screws with same size except needs to be 1/4" longer..
makes BIG difference..I never had any problems braking but this makes it feel like if emergency stop :yikes: All would be good...

Mine came in the kit with instructions.

Included two 7/16 NUTS (spacers)

Two M6-1.0 x 18 mm Hex Bolts

Unscrewed the rubber from the brake, place the two spacer bolts in the brake peddle, place the rubber on those and re-fastened with the new bolts.

Raises just enough where you have to step on the brake otherwise be two flat with the board.

I stopped using the rubber grommets about a year ago and replaced them with the 7/16th steel nut. Gives a firmer feel to the brake. In my endless quest to keep improving my Seal FloorBoards, I'm having a new, slightly taller, spacer made. Will keep you posted. I'm waiting for my first sample order. BTW, I also have a Nelson Rigg cover and use the passenger pegs. Works great.

Ride in comfort,

Looking forward to hearing about your new spacer. I'm using the steel nuts that came with the Seal FloorBoards and they works fine, but if the new spacer is an improvement, I'm definitely interested.

I also use the passenger boards to attach the travel cover. No issues with keeping the cover on with the new tie down location so far.
