• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Transporting a Spyder

I've been shopping for my first Spyder and I'm considering buying one out of state if I can find someone local to check it out
Then I need to transport it - can anyone offer recommendations on shippers who will give the bike the TLC it needs?
Thanx!

What state

Depends on the state. You'd probably get someone to ride it out there for expenses - I've done that on two wheels, a lot of 3 wheel folks on here waiting for info on where you're looking?

UBID.com for transportation. Make sure you take several pictures before and while loading the trike. They all carry insurance. I used the site to transport several cars and I know they also do bikes/trikes.
I was in the same situation as you about a month and a half ago. Ended up buying a 2012 RT. I paid a little over $21k otd. Good luck with your assignment!

One time I helped a friend to transport a bike. We did a sort of tag team state by state each person taking terns as the bike moved across the country. Everyone did a good job in keeping the speeds resonable and it cost nothing as everyone donated the gas cost.
