• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Transmission problem?

We have an 08 SE5 with 9000 miles on it. Today I got it out for the first time this season and when I started it a warning saying brake failure was running across the screen. I just figured it was a sending unit or something giving it a false reading as everything worked fine. After a couple of miles I took it back home and washed it and filled it with fuel. After I filled it with fuel and started it a warning comes on that says transmision failure. It will not let me shift it back to neutral and it shuts the engine down when I try to get over about 2000 RPM. Does anyone have any ideas or experiance with this? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You have two separate problems. The brake failure issue can probably be cured by adding a little brake fluid to the brake reservoir. The transmission issue sounds like a Gear Position Sensor failure. The GPS will have to be replaced if that is the case.

Thank you, I figured it was 2 seperate problems. It seems like the bikes have a lot of problems with sensors.
