• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Tranny Question

Hi all, I've had my 2019 F3 Limited for about a month now. It has about 1100 miles on it. I've noticed in the past couple weeks or maybe when I got it, just didn't notice, that it takes more twist of the throttle to get her moving when first started, but she goes and shifts just fine when warmed up. Has anyone else noticed this and should I be concerned?

Thanks Gedge

My 2018 F3-T is the same way. Takes a bit more throttle when cold to get moving, but once warmed up all is well. Mine has done it since I bought it new. I believe it is normal.

When the engine is cold the internal oil temp may affect how the HCM functions, perhaps slowing just a bit the lock up of the clutch. Just a WAG.

:agree: ... I have a 14 RT ... and if cold it is initially sluggish about moving ..... as it warms up this dis-appears ..... Mike

This is why it is why it's best to allow the engine to warm up while putting on your gear. I warm it until the first coolant mark appears.

Relation of the Throttle Position sensor and the fast idle at cold start. You will note a greater twist needed when cruise is set too
