• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailers

Don't

Do not buy from this site!!!
I did back in April and did not receive the title or vin plate. After repeated phone calls (won't answer or return calls), emails (no response), and letters I have not gotten anything from them.
I like the trailer, but after it comes out the door....nothing.

It's not up to the trailer manufacturer to get you the plates. You have to go to the DMV to get that done.

As for the max speed, I don't know exactly. But I've had my Escape trailer up to 90 MPH with no issues.

I might be wrong, but I think the only thing that voids the warranty is if you don't have the BRP hitch. The trailer itself doesn't void the warranty.

Correct Do consider the trailer from BRP as it has many super features.

1. Torsion bar suspension/trailing arm

2. front and rear hood doors that open separately.

3. plug and play adaptors for electrical (no splicing)

4. designed to match RT

I bought the China made trailer out of SC. All 2 or 3 brands seem to be made identical. I am an engineer and can find NO flaws in the design or quality of this trailer. I bought the Diamond XL which was lass than $1,500 delivered to your home! I owned a Bushtec trailer with my Goldwing for 15 years and I feel this trailer is going to be a much better value and less work to maintain and use.
i am the first to buy American made when it makes sense but the cost difference for the same thing is not how I want to use my money.

Check the welds after some use and material looks the same but is of poorer quality. If you ever bought tools or material from China you will know what I mean.

Trailers Unlimited LLC (limited liability corporation) kinda says it all.

All vehicles need a Certificate of Origin to be licensed in the US. If you license it yourself you will need this plus a Bill of Sale. If you buy from a dealer you will most likely never see the C/O as he will have to turn it in to get your license.

Do not buy an unlicensed trailer with out the C/O.

Aluma MCT XL factory wired for 5-wire round plug. The cleanest, simplest wiring solution was to strip out factory wiring and run clean, new 4-wire harness. MCT XL uses four standard (LED) 3-wire (ground, tail, stop/turn) taillights, 4-wire hook-up couldn't be simpler. I decided on 4-turn/stop lights, but 2-turn/stop and 2-tail light hook-up would be just as easy.

A standard 4-square plug was in my "spares" box, but I really like the modified flat-4 into 4-square idea... filed away, just in case.

Licensing? Check with your State's Motor Vehicle website...
In Ohio; isn't it the "BMV"? :dontknow:
Here in Noo Yawk; we either call them the "DMV", or a bunch of things that you'd never want to repeat around your Mother!

if your mom has a drivers license i'm sure she has used those words about dmv many times

I might be wrong, but I think the only thing that voids the warranty is if you don't have the BRP hitch. The trailer itself doesn't void the warranty.
Non-BRP hitch does not void the warranty, but any claim for warranty repair can be, and probably will be, denied if the failure can be shown to have been caused by the non-BRP hitch.

Can Am's wording takes a positive and states it in a negative sense to enhance the impact, i.e., there is no question the warranty continues with the use of a BRP hitch, but the warranty may be impacted by the non-BRP hitch. Read their statement carefully.

This is the only hitch system that maintains your vehicle's warranty.

From the warranty page in the 2013 Owner's Manual. The key operative word is "adversely."
or (4) the Roadster has been altered or modified in such a way so as to
adversely affect its operation, performance or durability, or has been altered or
modified to change its intended use.
