There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Trailering 2 RT's

We've done 2 RS's on an aluminum 101"x12' snowmobile trailer a handful of times. They go up sideways and travel pretty easily.

We have a 20 foot R&R cargo trailer that we store them in for the winter, with a solar battery tender on the roof. Works great drive them up the ramp and strap them down. Got about three feet of extra trailer so you might get by with a shorter one. The extra room is nice so you can move around them a bit. Enjoy the search Jim

Trailering 4 of them...

Does anyone trailer two Spyders, if so what trailer do you use?

We had a trailer built for our 4 spyders. It is a 7 X 20' platform with outside wheels. He is a picture of it:

No trouble pulling 10' wide? Isn't 8-6 about the limit? It was in AK. I don't know about here in America.

Last snow machine trailer I built was 8-4 tilt bed. AK DOT squawked a bit, but did give me a plate.

Could you use an 8-6 x 16? Load one forwards and one backwards, let them overlap. I've done that with big snow machines before when the skis wouldn't fit side by side. The back machine has to have a good, heavy cover. The wind catches the windshield pretty good. It will take a pretty stiff frame if it is single axle - 3500 lb axle.

I don't know what is available in store bought trailers. Could be 8 x16 - double axle 7000 lb is all that is easily available. Recommend to pick one out, measure the bed, and draft it out. Be good if they fit after you got the trailer home.:opps:

I looked at one last year for my bobcat, 8-6 x 16, hydraulic tilt bed - didn't need ramps. Other than it was way heavier than you would want - something like that would likely work well.

Now that is a great idea. I didn't know two machines would fit forwards/backwards in 7'. I'm guessing it is 8 - 6 wide to the outsides of the fenders? Outside tires are really good. Drops the bed down quite a bit - makes them a lot easier to load.

Have the builder follow that pattern, 10' or 12'. Probably be able to go with a single 3500 lb axle.
