Bought a Harbor Freight Tag-Along trailer. Upgraded all lights to led's. Installed proper 9/16" shackle bolts. Repacked bearings and installed good seals. Painted rims black. Installed "bearing buddies". Added weatherstrip to joint between top and bottom sections. Made and installed swingarm mounted hitch. Installed 5 wire to 4 wire converter. Loaded it up with 35 bottles of water,36 cans of pop, and the biggest box of beer I have ever seen, and took it on a mercy ride. 80mph. Towed excellent. My V35 bags were not going to cut it for the 1200 mile trip planned for the summer with the lovely wife(who doesn't understand "pack light"). We will see how it holds up. The price is sure right on these units. Especially when on sale+used a 25% off coupon. Found lots of advise on other motorcycle forums regarding this unit by Googling the item#(66771).

Nicely done..!!

You did a lot to set it up right. Should give you trouble free traveling. Tell the wife "if it's full when we leave we are not buying anything to bring back" this helps some though mine pack all her old stuff and dumps it along the way...can't win..!!..:roflblack: Have a safe trip..!! hyea:
