• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Is it safe to say that the only way your going to have lighting for your home made or aftermarket trailer is to use
BRP parts, or is there a way towire the roadster with aftermarket wiring:yikes:

Spyder End:
I don't know that anybody has tried to directly wire a trailer connector and aftermarket module, as owners use on their RS's. It should work, unless Nanny shuts things down, but there is not good place to bring out a harness or mount a standard trailer connector. For those using the BRP hitch, it comes with a trailer harness that includes the connector/module.

Trailer End:
That creates a new problem, you need to connect to the 9-pin (7 pins used) connector. The easiest way is to utilize a BRP trailer tongue harness with the matching connector, but the Deutsch connectors, pins, and crimping tool are available elsewhere. Whichever way you go, I highly recommend the use of the positive locking Deutsch connectors, which are also waterproof.
