• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer spare

I noticed that the spare for the brp trailer is a 4 lug if I was willing to take half the room up in my trailer with a spare it sure be nice if it would fit the spyder too who dreamed this up?

I thought it was the most rediculous thing when I got my trailer. I was hoping it would match the front Spyder rims. :gaah::gaah::gaah:

A: Different diameter wheels,
B: Standard trailer hubs don't match the Spyder,
C: No jack for either,
D: You'd still cry about not having a spare for the rear of the Spyder.
:D

I realize the reasons but there is no excuse for not making it the same they designed it the offsets widiths and all could be the same yes the rear is different but it would be way better than nothing if you are going to carry the weight and loose the space mite as well make it 3 times as useful

Actually, there are very good reasons. It appears that in order to meet regulatory regulations, the three-bolt pattern cannot be used, and a standard, existing hub could not be used with a 3-bolt wheel, either. This may have been able to be gotten around, but it would require expensive testing and government approvals. Changing the Spyder's bolt pattern is not an economical or viable option, either. Personally, I would rather have a trailer that could take a wheel I could buy anywhere, than a matching oddity. Goldwing owners don't have matching wheels on their trailers. :)
