Trailer Parking

Come on, now! A few weeks ago we stayed at a hotel with not much parking. There in the parking lot, taking up 4 spaces, was an SUV with a trailer - with a Spyder on it! There was a gravel lot about 30' away where this yo-yo could have parked. You're giving bikers a bad name by being so inconsiderate. Embarassed for you & your ignorance & inconsiderate action!!!

They probably just wanted to be able to keep an eye on things from the room... and maybe an attitude that if something fits my 'need' and is available, it's mine for the taking... 'cuz I'm important and you ain't! Consideration starts with 'me'!

I can see wanting to keep an eye on my rig from my room. But four spaces if too much. Shouldn't need more than two, fer shur.

but there out there in droves....I just go to the lot and move on. If they have a trailer and travel they should look for the motels with pull through parking but that may be asking a bit much...:banghead::banghead:

It's amazing how many place do NOT have pull thru parking. That would make it so much easier.

Don't understand why you are upset with the trailer owner for using the parking spaces he needed and obviously got there before you did. You should be upset with the hotel for not having adequate parking. Depending on the looks of the gravel lot and if it was obvious it was owned by the same property and covered by video surveillance like the hotel lot, I might have made the same decision he did.

The hotel should have provided extra deep spaces for truck/trailer combos or a larger lot to have sufficient space for the number of rooms they rent.

You are upset with the wrong party. Suggest letting the hotel property management know and not staying there again until they remedy the situation.
