• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer light connection

:( Have a problem with the lights connection to the trailer.:gaah: If anyone can help me with this it would be great. :chat:The only light working is white interior light. In the morning I'll put a test light to it. Ain't nothing but a thing.
An extra pig tail connection came with the trailer. And there is a plug already on the trailer. No reference to this plug. Is it different from the one on the hitch?? :dontknow: Did anyone have this problem with there trailer

I'm not trying to be a smart alick here but the white interior light is the only light that should be on (if the lid is open). The rest of the lights do not illuminate unless the ignition is on for the Spyder. Wiring up the plug for a trailer is very straightforward. No tricks, no equalizer/adapter needed. No error codes, no limp mode. It can't be lack of power or lack of good ground or your interior light would not illuminate. It is very unlikely that all your other connections are bad/loose except for one. Some times the most brilliant minds forget the simplest things. I hope it is really that easy for you.

This is a Bushtec setup, right? I had a question when wiring my Bushtec hitch, called them, and they got me squared away real quick. The Bushtec wiring package I got came with the adaptor to connect to the Spyder's exisiting lighting, a long pigtail that fed through the lower arm of the hitch and a shorter pigtail that wired to the long pigtail in the hitch arm. The short pigtail then plugged into the adapter harness that I had wired into the Spyder's lighting. That way I can remove the hitch and unplug the hitch wiring from the adapter instead of undoing wires.

Problem solved. where I went wrong was. Connect matching wire colors. That was fine until white trailer wire goes to black relay. then connect the other black wire to the green. Now everything works fine.
