There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The use of a non-BRP hitch will void your warranty. BRP lays it out in heavy print in the accessory catalogue.
I do not have an answer as to why.
I had my dealer wire in a flat four trailer connector so that it would match my 2010 RT 622 4 pin trailer adapter harness.

I had people tell that going non-BRP would absolutely void the warranty, and others tell me that they could not legally void the warranty just because you used a non-BRP part. I ended up with a BRP hitch because someone had one and offered it to me for the same price as the Big Bike parts hitch.
If you go BRP, you might call Honda East in Maumee, OH. If you remind them that they are a site sponsor for SpyderLovers, you can buy their hitch, wiring harness and shipping for under $440. The best price I found for the Big Bike Parts hitch and harness (the only other one I'd consider) was at Amazon for $295.82.
