• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer connection - any adaptors Can-Am to std 4-wire?

We just purchased a trailer to pull behind my wife’s 2020 RT Limited. It is made by US Trailer in Greenville, SC. and based on the specs should not be hard on the Spyder. For many years we towed the Can Am RT -622 trailers with our 2012 Spyders that required a special wiring for the 622. We will be towing the new trailer using a Can Am hitch but the new trailer uses a standard 4-Wire electrical plug.

Does anyone know of an adapter so we can use the Can Am plug and adapt it to the new trailer?

She doesn’t plan on too much weight in the new unit, so she will be staying well within the 400-450 pound weight range.

We know all the manufacturers warnings about non-BRP stuff voiding the warranty but we will take our chances on the new unit that is substantially less money than the RT-622.

Lamonster Garage sells a "Trailer Harness Adaptor" for $22.95 (SKU is LA4006). That cable should do the trick.
