Trailer 622 tire preassure

When I was adding Ride On to my trailer tires I looked at the recommended tire pressure. It says 60, what are you running yours at?

622 Trailer Tire Pressure

My 622 manual says to run 35 psi which is what I've been running with. Hope some others reply, now I'm curious!:doorag:

Somewhere I read that you should run the trailer tires at max pressure, Didn't explain why, then someone stated that if you did the tires bounced a lot especially when not loaded. You should be able to rely on a dealer's advice, but as we all know a lot of dealers don't have a clue.

I'd say somewhere between 40 and mox would be fine. Keep an eye on tire wear, I'm thinking.

High Miles

Glad you have alot of trouble free mile. At 7500 miles, thats about when the bearings start to give problems. Might want to give them a quick check with the tires off of the ground. Good luck.

Thanks, Bob. I'm doing just that. Lamont taught me well when he had a similar problem a couple years back. Thanks again.

40-45 psi

15k miles. Tire wear about 40%. Bearings checked after AK trip all good actually based on season 1 of trailer tire issues I say GREAT:yes:

High miles

Not sure if it is a wide spread problem or not with the wheel bearings. But I have seen several post ( Lamont is one ) that had problem around 7500 miles. Just good to check to make sure. That would be a nasty surprise if it happened. I think about 7000 I will just replace mine to play it safe. Those bearings are cheap.

Just had my bearings checked yesterday after close to 7000 mi. Mech says the grease was clean and the bearings looked brand new. Glad the topic of air came up.

I run mine at 42 ish. My trailer is usually fuller than recommended and I have the shocks set at the stiffest setting. installed Bearing Buddies earlier this year. I've probably got close to 80,000 miles on my Rt 622.

Well, it lasted a lot longer than your 13 T did. See ya in a couple days. By the way, do you pack a fire extinguisher it the 622?

Bearing Buddys are great for the front bearings but do nothing to get grease to the rear bearings. I would still manually pack the rear bearings @ 3-4000 miles.
