Trading my 2018 RTL for a 2022 RTL - will the driver backrest swap up?

On the 18 I had a brp comfort seat and brp driver backrest. So knowing I would not get anything more for my trade I removed the driver back rest in hopes that it would fit the 2022. Anyone know if it will? If it will not work on the 22 what would be a fair price to ask for it? It is in perfect condition and I paid around $500 for it. BTW I won't have my new on until late next month Thanks

No it will not work on the 22. And before you trade in the bike, you will need to remove the bracket from the bottom of the seat that the back rest goes into. It is unique to the comfort seat and will not work on a stock seat. If you intend to sell it, you must sell both pieces together or they will be useless to a buyer. You should be able to get somewhere between $250-$350 for it.

Yes I removed the mounting bracket. I will post it for $300 on the for sale page. That will pay part of a new back rest for the 2022 RTL

Used Utopia on 3 different bikes, I really like them and much cheaper than BRP.
