• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

After several year of study, I bought my new Spyder Rt s today. I will pick it up on Friday.
I am so excited to get out on the road and enjoy this fine Machine.
i have loved my Goldwing but I figured I will get many more years of fun from my Spyder.
I will turn 70 in July so I'm no spring chicken.
I hope to meet other Spyder RT riders in Northern Utah to meet and become friends.
I live in Hooper, Utah.

Welcome to the SADDLE and Spyder Forum

Welcome Aboard

Enjoy the new ryde with many myles filled with smyles!!

congratulations!

just think, no more Wingdings! :yes:welcome to a new member! :thumbup:did they give you a decent trade on your wing?

Welcome..!!

Although they are two different worlds, I am happier in this one..sold my wing and figured I'm done but the wife bought me the 2012 RS and we are on the road every chance we get. Welcome to the roadster world and if your new here as well you have come to the right place..congrats on your new ryde..we do expect pic's..it's a must here...:roflblack:

Welcome

You will absolutely love it! Am slightly older and made the move back in 2010. Have never regretted it.

Congrats on the new machine!:2thumbs: The power band on the Rotax is different than the Wing. Shift at higher rpms, over 4000 rpms. The higher the revs the smoother and quicker the gear shifts are. The engine loves to rev. Shifting up too soon will lug the motor and could damage the clutch.

:congrats: on the new ryde  Many of us have had to make the decision to go from two wheels to three. The :spyder2: fits that bill nicely. Once you get beyond the differences of the Wing/:ani29:--you will be fine.

I traded in my 2009 Goldwing for a 2012 RT Limited. I liked the 2009 Goldwing the most out of all the bikes I've ever owned. Having said that, I have absolutely no regrets about trading it in for the RT. Your going to love it! Congradulations !!!!

I put over 50,000 miles on my GL1800 a few years back...

I've had my Spyder RT now for about a month and REALLY like the rYde!

Welcome to three-wheeled riding!

Enjoy & rYde safe!

You will love the Spyder! Enjoy it a RIDE. I am getting a few years on the old back so I don't do much over 400 miles without popping it on the trailer:cus:.

I travel all over the country and have to rent 3 wheel transport often. Very few dealers rent the Spyder. Town and Country Harley in Cement City, Michigan DOES:clap:. The boss is an old friend of mine and he tells me the two in his fleet are gone almost every weekend! That being said, I usually have to rent something else and cannot wait to get back to my RTL In fact, have a meeting in Bangor, Maine first week in June and am going to trailer my Spyder all the way from Southwest Mississippi so I can really enjoy the ride we will have there! One of my brothers is riding to the same place from the big City of Houston, Tx and he is made of steel.

Thinking about doing the same.

Another Bajaron fan

I ordered and received the new antisway bar on Thursday. Installed on Friday, very easy install.
After test drive still felt a little twitch, I had purchased a pair of magnetic laser levels from Harbor Freight, so I set out to check the toein, it was set a 0". I adjusted it to 1/32" toein.
i had to wait until today to road test because of heavy rain last night. After the rain stopped today, I took a long road test. Both urban and Freeway driving, Wow what a difference, a very stable and comfortable ride.
Money well spent.
i love my Spyder.
