• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Traded my 2022 F3 Ltd for a 2024 F3 Ltd - lots to like!

I recently traded my 2022 F3 Limited Special in on a 2024 F3 Limited Special. I really like the new dash display with all of the information available and everything is much easier to see/read. I kept the aftermarket windshield from the 2022 and placed it on the 2024. I had a 2020 RT Limited and had a Akropovic exhaust put on it when new, then put that on the 2022, and now it is on the 2024. All three bikes came from factory with their headlights set at the low end of the specs and I readjusted them to the higher end which makes a big difference. To get Apple Carplay to work, I had a Bluetooth receiver from when I used to use a Garmin GPS on the other bikes and I plugged it into the power feed in rear trunk paired to the bike and now have CarPlay working. Handling is nice and tight and it goes down the road straight with little effort. The only distraction I have had is at night riding with gloves on, when it's easy to hit the horn button rather than the turn signal because it is not lit like all the other switches. The new design headlights are a welcomed improvement and no longer have to be changed out with aftermarket lights.

So the 2024 came with LED headlights then? But no foglights, is that correct? Congratulations on your new ride!

Congrats on your new ride!

Did the 2024 come with the top case and top rack?

I just grabbed a copy of the F3 Operators Guide and it shows the high and low headlights are LEDs, same as for my 2024 Spyder RT.

I don't see any references to fog lights, although there are several comments about driving in foggy conditions.

No fog lights with the 2024. The new designed headlamps are better than before and the usefulness of the previous fog lamps no longer that great. Did come with top case with external stowage carrier as the previous model. Did not see on the tires saying Kanines but tread looks as if they are. The heated grips show on display and can be set at multiple heating levels. To shift into reverse is much better designed than previous models. To cancel the turn signal when passing has gotten better than older models too. Upshifting feels more crisp than on the previous model.

Nice that the grips have multiple settings! That was a dislike for me on my 2018 and my 2023 that they only have one heat setting, hence I added heated grip wraps. Also great about the turn signal cancelling improvement! For those with older models, FrogmanDave has developed a better button and also a pad for the shifter that make for great improvement. Curious to hear your thoughts on the Kanines - I had a set on my 2018. Isn't BRP meant to have a new design of tires this year with a different compound? If so, I'll be trying them... well, the rear anyways. I'm sure I don't need a new front set just yet lol. Crisp upshifting sounds awesome too! Good for you! Exciting stuff to get a new ride!

Another noticeable difference between the 2022 and 2024 is the 47-52 mph whine is gone. It is very suttle if any but I have heard it on the last two bikes and may be more sensitive to listening for it. Now, more of a normal drivetrain noise. Had my first software update notice and went quite well. With the bike in the garage and the modem in the basement, had no issues with connection.
