After yesterday, i wouldn't even consider disabling this feature, it was raining so hard and lightning so bad, the road had a lot of water in the tire ruts, the front tires were trying to push against the water and the back was breaking loose and would drift 3 or 4" every other second, the traction control corrected it immediately every time, hundreds of times in a 7 mile stretch, down to 30 mph in a normally 70 mph two lane road, that wide back tire hydroplanes very easily with only a couple hundred lbs. I was thinking about a little wider tire on the front, as others have said it handles more responsive, not any more, i'm sure it does on a dry road, but it would have increased my problem considerably, i will replace the rear with the best car rain tire when due. The computer nanny seems excessive most of the time, but will save you when you really need it!
