• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

TPMS Systems on an RT

Has anyone tried any of the aftermarket TPMS systems on the RT? Is there sufficient clearance for a system like Show Chrome's?

I had the show chrome TPMS on my Goldwing and trailer, when I traded I swapped the unit over.

The unit as 4 sensors, two for the bike and two for the trailer, I used the trailer sensors on the fronts and the rear on the rear. Works fine plenty of clearance, they now make one for the spyder. The only difference is the graphic on the unit and 3 sensors. May upgrade if they ever make 5 wheel version, spyder plus trailer.

more useful on the trailer, you tend to feel when the bike as low pressure, the trailer you can not tell without checking.

With all the tech in the spyder was surprised it didn't have TPMS built in.

I am using TireGard Trike which works great but is a little pricey. No wheel balance or clearance problems at all.

I'm don't have the money to invest in a fancy system; however, I'm thinking of buying http://www.ride-on.com/smartcap from the Ride-On folks. A self-calibrating cap that visually lets you know if you're low on air. You can buy enough for the Spyder and trailer. Sure it doesn't have a remote display but I generally walk around the Spyder for a visual inspection anyway.

Too many farkles and not enough money
