• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Toys R Us Boomerang

Maybe I missed something, but why did BRP misspell the name spider, and why does our vehicle not have 8 leg? There is no reason for naming anything.

The "y" in :f_spider: refers to the "Y" factor which they advertised heavily in the earlier years. If you think about the two wheels in front and the single rear--you kind of get a "Y." When they first came out, they were considered very innovative with the "nanny" VSS.

As I have been corrected several times, I don't ride a Spyder trike, I ride a Spyder "Roadster".
Now when I was a young man, I had a '32 Ford Roadster, not even close, BUT in the early 1900s there were plenty of open cockpit cars called roadsters. And we have some current open air cars called the same. Not sure what the Canuks were shooting for?
So I ride a TrikeSter!

Roadster, motorcycle, whatever! The Spyder doesn't fit the traditional definition of either one, although it comes a whole lot closer to motorcycle than roadster!

 Just saw an ad for it, I'm messing with some family members that have kids that were already drooling at my :spyder2::roflblack:
OK, after watching that video, I want one! I cannot tell if the front wheels were pulling, or just moving with momentum provided by the rear. It also appeared to lean (the front wheels did anyway).
If I could find an adult version of that, I would buy it. And no, the slingsnot doesn't look that fun.

The product website says all wheel drive.

There you are, a classic example of what happens when you try running a round profile 'motorcycle' tire at road car pressures on the back of your Spy... errr, 3 wheel reverse tryke!! :yikes:

:joke: :roflblack:

Interestingly tho, they are calling it an all-terrain vehicle, & show it off the black-top..... must have more ground clearance than my RT!
