• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Toy for rich boys

Initial thoughts: 1. A couple of miniguns would make it really impressive. 2. If it fails while airborne, the dauntless aviator is toast. 3. It probably has the glide characteristics of a brick. 4. For anything approaching even a short cross-country flight a very long extension cord would be a mandatory option.

Today's Toy

:spyder:..Diffently not a Spyder RTL. Just curious about flying one of those things. If it works out for you and is really safe. I would not like to have any issues while flying.

It seems like this could be a great opportunity for someone who can afford it. I wonder how much training you have to take. Hopefully the range and travel time is good.
They have been talking about 'flying cars' for 50 years.

I think I will just have to wait and see. ......

Flight training would go surprisingly fast. The gyro's and computers do most of the work. The rules of the road type training would be the longest and hardest.

I think we are several generations of battery away from decent range.
