Well, it's been some tyme since I was able to wryte or ryde! I went on my first family vacation in like 7 years the last week and a half, and it was awesome! ended up in Branson, Missouri, and for anyone who hasn't been, go! It's like Vegas for families! Excellent fun! Even had a trike convention in town, although sadly, not that many spyders as it was mostly custom one's. Even saw one with the back of a Chevy pick up and the front of a goldwing... hilariously cool.
Today, I was able to pick up my Spyder at the dealer. What's this you say? Tox, I thought you had it already!? Yes, I did/do, but I left it with them as they finally got all my options prior to leaving for said vacation, so they installed everything and stored it for me, along with it's 600 mile service.
1st thing I noticed, the Can-am comfort seat is TREMENDOUSLY comfortable! Well worth it! Looks great and feels better! Then, the Can-Am handle bar raisers changed my back posture completely. Less vibration, more comfort, felt like ryding something completely new!
What was added you ask? Here's the rundown:
And speaking of ryding, this is a special one, as it is the first one with pics of my baby (still debating on a name, more on that later). I'm anal and didn't want to take pics until she had everything on her.
This is similar to the Taylor Loop, but the route (click here for gmap link) going North at 95 through Granger, Texas (which has a great place called the Cotton Club Steak House).
It also takes a much more winding road back, FM 971 (Those not familiar with Texas, FM means Farm to Market.). I love farmland (comes from growing up on a farm I'd bet) and this ryde is a great twisting, turning road through a lot of beautiful farmland.
Additionally, on the way back, I passed the Williamson County Court House in beautiful downtown Georgetown, TX, and they were just closing up shop from a celebration of the building's centennial anniversary! Got a quick pic... but missed the free ice cream apparently.
It was 98 degrees, not a cloud in the sky, and gorgeous!
I also told myself I was going to stop at as many Historical Markers on my rydes, and tonight I passed the Jonah Cemetery. Interesting, small place in a small town, the houses graves from confederate veterans and sisters who apparently had 22 kids (wow!)
So where's the pics you ask? Here you go!

Oh, and the name thing? I'm torn between a few that have come up... feel free to chyme in:
Hope you like the write up and the pics. Hope to have another one on Father's Day. :2excited:
