Touring Seat 2012

I thought that I heard the the new set back touring seat come stock on the 2012 Limited Machines. I was just at the Motorcycle show today and visited the Can Am dispaly and asked to mount the Limited model. I found it to be the same as last years model other than color. The Reps. told me that it is a option not standard on any model. Just info. Bob

The WIILY Spyder Ryders were there at the show working the booth and the seat setback was the biggest complaint I heard all day. It seemed that anyone over 5' 6" thought they needed the seat back 2-3":dontknow:. I'm 6' as was OK with the stock seat but I can see anyone much over 6' could use the extra space. When people would set down they seemed to repeatably set down where the seat comes up to the passanger level.

Their printed material says it comes stock on the Limited but that was a misprint. It does not come stock on the limited.

I installed the new "comfort" seat on my RT and I am not sure why it is called the comfort seat. It is different and the extra space is nice for the driver, but not the passenger. It is also a bit firmer than the stock and after only a few hundred miles I am not sure if it is more comfortable. Not worse than the stock, I guess I was just hoping for more comfort and not just firmer.
