• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Touring Europe

Febail and I just finished confirming our spyder rental in Europe and have our flights. We will leave on June 12 and pick up the spyders on June 14 in Zurich. We have 11 days planned to visit Germany, Austria, Italy, and Switzerland. A friend from Denmark will join us in Frankfurt and ride/guide us for 7 of the days. Spyder rental in Europe is not cheap but less hassle than making arrangements to ship the bikes there and back plus insurance etc. Zurich is the only pick up point that has spyders. Many other locations if you prefer 2 wheels. I wanted an RT but none available those dates so I will get an ST, Frank will stick with his RS. Mine comes with the side cases but the RS has only the frunk. Frank is planning to purchase a waterproof bag to strap on the pinion seat as we will be riding solo. Now have to line up hotels, European sim cards for the iphones and of course figure out how to pay for it all.

Sounds like fun, please keep a video and picture blog going on here.

I go to Munich for business several times a year and love the Bavarian area, never seem to get the extra time to rent any bikes/spyders. Been close to 20 years since I last rode through Europe. Maybe when the last of my kids go through collage we will make the time.

You will have a great time, memories for a life time, enjoy and be safe.

btw, phones in Europe are very, very cheap. I took my youngest son last year on a business trip to England with me. He stayed at his grandparents in Leicester. I picked up a couple of phones for 5 pounds each, you simply add 20 pounds as you go and they last forever. We even could dial the USA to talk to my wife/mum, for a penny a minute, yeap, penny a minute to call over seas.

and post some pictures if you don't mine. God Bless.

Wow that sounds awesome. Be sure to let Chris56 from Austria know that you will be there. He posts the most incredible pictures of his Spyder and I'm sure he would be happy to share the routes with you
