• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Greetings fellow spyder riders, some goofball at work backed into the Trunk on my 2013 RT and chipped the paint. Where can I get some touch up paint?
Thank you

Get the paint code from BRP (I did) and find a local place like Levine Auto Parts - others probably do too - which will mix the paint, and you can get brush-type touch up or a spray can.

What color are you looking for?

Try VHT paint. This can be found in any Auto parts stores. VHT has alot of colors to choice from.

Mike( Blueknight911) used VHT paint when he painted my dashboard 5 years ago.

Sort of an ad on question but I have somehow acquired som helmet scratches, not too deep but enough to show discoloration. When going out to order the touch up pen I immediately get upsold a base coat pen. Do I need this?

I checked with Colorite and they indeed list a base coat and a top coat to achieve the White Pearl effect of your paint for your color and model.

Just a wee heads-up; you need to be very sure your paint is compatible with your helmet material regarding affecting its strength.

Wally World has a huge selection of nail polish. I have always found a shade of whatever color I need there. Inexpensive, no need to wait for it to arrive. Tom :spyder:

I had a small scratch on the top of my helmet in the Gold area found a big selection of paints at Hobby Lobby and got the exact match. I touched the scratch up and then put some clear coat over it that I had from my car paints
