• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My son and I were doing the Father's day thing by riding to my favorite steak resturant. We had just covered about 130 miles of Georgia Backroads (temps in the 80's) when on the last turn into the parking lot his 09 RSE5's power steering goes out and then about a second later the bike dies. I mean dead, no indicators or anything on the instrument panel, no power, no response at all. We pushed it into a parking space and left it while we thought it over. We tried inserting the key and turning it on with nothing, happening. The ultimate grey screen of death! We checked all of the fueses and they looked like fuses. We looked at the relays and well you really can't tell anything about a relay by just looking at it. We then hooked his bike up to mine (also an 09 RSE5) and tried to sart it up. The panel came alive and looked ok, so he went through the startup procedure. Key on, brake pedal depressed, function button pressed, and then when the panel message cleared he hit the starter. The panel gauges went back to the startup cycle with the panel message coming back on, a sort of groundhog spyder day kind of thing. Well weleft the bike at the resturant when the owner could keep an eye on it and road double back home (130 miles), got a trailer returned to the bike (130 miles)loaded it up and returned home by midnight (another 130 miles). Total miles covered 520 miles! It goes to the shop Tuesday. anyone have any ideas? Ill let you all know when we do as to what happend.
