• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Top Speed of 2014 RT

Well since my speedometer has a max of 200mph printed on it, top speed of a 2014 RT is 200mph, right?

Yup! It's fun to play with new passengers minds. You can reach 100 (kph) right at 62 (mph) and mess with them from there. Just point to the speedo (after you have changed it over prior to the ride). :roflblack:

on my wing and my bmw i did 130 and felt i had more to go, but i chickened out. at at 130 my friend chuck on his v max passed me like i was standing still

Had a Yamaha Venture with the V max engine in it, back in the 1980's. Boy, was it fast. I did my speed test on a passing lane on Minnesota's North Shore Drive, and passed those cars like they were standing still. I am more conservative now though.

I guess that I am the wimp here. About 80-85 mph.

I'm with you. I had my 2010 RT up to about 98 mph for a few seconds and then let off. I think I've had my 2013 RT-S up to about 85 and that's it. Smooth each time, but I have no desire nor need to go any faster.

This can really be fun, especially if you want to impress/scare somebody. First time, I rode a BMW, it go tup a 100 real quick and it felt like I was only going 60.Then the the owner told me about Kilometers per hours against MPH

My 2010 logged 102 on the GPS as max speed. I don't think there was much more but it didn't take much time at all to get to 95. It leveled out and took it's time moving on to 100. I did squirt the '14 up to 102 just playing around and I am sure it has some more in it. As it is new I didn't want to push though. It is stronger above 90 than the V twin. time will tell as we get them broke in.

Tops for us two up

was 104 on a ride on the super slab in the great State of Iowa. We were riding with another couple that were on their HD.

My wife did not realize we were traveling at that speed for 4 miles, smooth as silk....

While alone, 107.

Soon after I got my 2000 V-Max I passed cars like they were stopped. Then I was stopped. $175 + some demerit points.
