• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Top Notch Sale with Jason with Imotorsports

Alright Keith, First of all, great looking bike. Now let's get your F3T and Cocaine on the road and run the Dragon like it should be run. We can also solve that age old question. Which is faster, an F3T or an RTS? Get there about 7am and have some fun before Gram and Gramps clog up the road.

Yep buddy, you are the one I want to ride with. Not many spyder riders take them to the limits like we do, and I really appreciate that. Not sure if I will get up there again before October, but we can always do another day trip and try out the Diamondback and Devils Whip. The Dragon was a no go this past Friday. We rode it, but there were cops everywhere, so I had to take it easy. I also rode it on Wednesday, but it was after 7pm, and no one was there to take pictures. We will have to get together soon:thumbup:.

I came out $2k ahead by dealing with Imotorsports instead of a local Spyder dealer.
Same here. I tried the dealer that does all my service, and he wanted $3500 more for a similar bike, but with no stereo. Then I went to a place that was almost local (Winston Salem). They had the same bike, but it was a SM6, and nearly $1600 less. I thought, wow, maybe I will get another manual. Well after all the fees and etc. were tagged on, my $1600 savings turned out to be $0.00 savings, for a manual! Needless to say, I am happy with my deal, and that is whats most important.

We also dealt with iMotorsports.

Trade value was WELL above what the local dealer would offer and the sale price was lower. Net trade difference was over $3000 including the shipping.

All paperwork was done electronically for us. The bike was delivered in covered transport clean and full of gas, ready to ride. They picked up the RT we traded in at the same time. The MSO for the bike was sent via FedEx a couple days later and we filed for title and registration at our local tax office. We financed the purchase with our local credit union where the trade in had previously been financed. We have sent a few friends there as well and they also had a straight forward experience.

They have this remote sales gig down and can out do most local dealers on both price and sale experience.

Wifes F3T is fun but...

While the F3T is fun to ryde; I am happy with the 15 base RT I,m on. Just need to come up with the cash for some floorboards and a backrest, and the 20,000 miles on the ODO can become 100K. Like BlackLightning and some others, I would miss the storage that I have and am fine with the touring style of ryding. I'm sure that somewhere in the future, a new seat with gas door may be in the future as well. Too many rydes on the bucket list to wait for cash and time;)

Sounds good to me. I really enjoyed riding the Snake with you, and the Devils Whip and Diamond back would be an excellent shorter ride. Looking forward to it. Probably have to do it early on the weekend for my work schedule. Let me know when you are free.

My Experience

I bought my first Spyder, a 2016 F3-T, through iMotorsports, working with Jason. It was a great experience. The price, which included free shipping of about 1000 miles, was great - the lowest that I had found, and I did a LOT of research. I also got a deal on accessories that I had added at the time of purchase. Jason was very responsive, and I am a pretty demanding and detail-oriented kind of person. Jason was always courteous and professional. He responded quickly to my emails, even though I could tell that he was very busy - probably because of the excellent value and customer service that he and iMotorsports provide. I can highly recommend them. Jason and iMotorsports are exceptional.
